Saturday night horsecart races! This was a lot of fun. The max bet you can place is 1 euro 50. We did not win, but we all had a good time.
The skies were gloomy but the races went on without a problem. I bet on the lead horse but he couldn't hold the lead to the end. He did come in second place. 
The winning horse's victory lap. It was a beautiful evening with our friend Jean-Louis at the races. He will be leaving Menorca on the 9th of October and we hope to be leaving around the 13th for our night watch training with Captain Graham. Mark's brother John (I call him Stevie) will be arriving around the 25th and joining us for the jump across the pond. We are very excited to have him cross with us. Must get the boat ship shape before he arrives for I am certain there will be an inspection.
