Feeding the Lorie parrots was a blast. They are not shy when you have food. My favorite one is the one drinking the last drop of pulp from the machine. He's no dummy.
The Botanique gardens were beautiful.
They are still dealing with some of the effects of the Volcanic ash from the Monserrat Volcano explosion a couple weeks ago. The plants have a coating of volcanic dust and the waters are murky.
Koi feeding frenzie.
I just love the tree orchids.
Tired feet, no problem.
On the far side of the gardens is La Villa Du Jardin Botanique. One of the best views on the island. From here, on a clear day, you can see any volcanic activity on Monserrat. The view is superb no matter how you look at it.
Playtime at the Grande Anse Beach. The waves were big and they were strong. Both Mark and I got slammed into the sand by the waves. The waves even took my sunglasses. Damn.
It was a very nice relaxing afternoon on the beach.
See ya later on the big blue watery road, Theresa & Mark
