Leaving St. Lucia to Martinique

It was bittersweet leaving St. Lucia.  My two favorite guys are seeing us off.  Troy and Eldin we will miss you too.  They are waving us off ( Troy said he might cry and Eldin said he would slap him out of it).  It took longer to leave than expected due to a rudder issue that we have been fighting since we left spain.  There is  a guy in Guadeloupe (Fred Marine) that can fix it.  So we only have to fight it til we get there.  Keeping our fingers crossed.

It didn't take long after leaving the harbor for me to become acting Captain...Why you ask?
I didn't mind it was a perfect day.  I will miss all of the friends we made in St. Lucia but I am sure we will meet again.  The following are pics of some of our St. Lucia friendships.  Miss you guys.

Andy in his swim cap and an expert fish cleaner.

Captain Dan from the M/Y Selqet.

Our friend John Ponko.  This man can make beautiful golf courses.  Keep up the great work and see you sailing!
My favorite guy from Marigot Bay, TROY!  You rock and keep smiling.

St. Lucia in the rear view mirror and Martinique, here we come.

See ya on the big blue watery road, Theresa
